We have mock-ups!

It’s been an interesting journey getting here. I think we’ve pivoted twice and I finally feel like we’ve found our sweet-spot. 2022 was a whirlwind of a year, if I do say so myself, and it’s always a weird thing to internalise that I am in fact, the co-founder of a startup.

Towards the end of last year we spoke to a few prospective clients about their challenges, and, because human and user-centred design is at the core of the work we do, we commissioned a dev to create mock-ups for us (I’m biased but he’s the best UX designer I know), and we’ll be testing with the clients next week to ensure that we’re creating something that is solving a real problem for them.

We’re in month 8 of the Cherie Blair Mentorship Program, and the main reason I entered the program was for accountability. Tiyeni is a project that has been in the works for the last three years and this is the furthest I’ve gone to bring it life. I definitely believe it’s because I’ve had to be accountable to a mentor (shout out to Melisa!).

It’s amazing to see this project come to fruition.

To the moon!
